Yep, at the price it has been dropped to, it practically pays for itself. My xbox has pretty much sat there and collected dust since i bought it.

Why would you wish it would be exclusive? Why would you want others to be deprived of the fun to play a great game? I will never understand the gaming fanboys. Like when Sony fanboys freaked out when Final Fantasy was going to Xbox, it was like OMGWTFBBQ!!1!!1!! So what? More people get to enjoy the game.

As for the Slim, I'll be picking it up. That'll make 2 PS3's in my house. Now me and my nephew will be albe to game online together slaughtering noobs in MW2.

I can't wait until Fable 3 comes out although I haven't even played Fable 2 yet. Is it any good?

Fifa 10 and PES are released in the next month, too!

Oblivion, if Fable was on the ps3 it would just be one less reason to own a 360

I'm torn on the old, fat PS3 and the slim now. They are priced equally now, and I was reading on slickdeals that Best Buy is including MLB 09, InFamous, or Killzone 2 with the purchase of a fatty (YMMV).

The fat one allows you to install Linux as an alternate OS which would be awesome for a media center. Linux would allow .MKV playback, as well as get rid of the 4GB FAT32 restriction that was my main reason for selling it in the first place.

I'm probably going to pick both of those up, we'd have 3 positions filled up in team up for 2k, we need 2 more people! I really suck at call of duty though.

I always felt that the original Fable was much too restrictive. I was thinking of buying Fable 2 yesterday but I was having second thoughts. I'll probably purchase it in the next couple of days.

Oh man I'm SO STOKED about MW2! Thanks for the reminder! I'm not great at it though, but I'm not horrible, I got an almost even K/D ratio though, so I'm not chopped liver. But that would be sweet! I do love the realism of COD games, maybe this new one will have "Iraqi Zombies!!!" lol

Yeah I never could really get into the first Fable, but I always compared it to Morrowind, since I was playing that a lot. But Fable 2 would def be recommended, especially at a bargain price since the game has been around a little while.

Yeah, I was just always put off by the guns though. Does it effect the game if you don't use them?

I only have put in about 5 hours in Fable 2, and there was one mission where I had to use the gun (as a kid) and then as an adult you get a cross bow to use, so it isnt a gun.. but you very well might have to get a gun later in the game, I'm not sure.
