Baseball has been doing that for their preseason games and it's really irritating

The way to eliminate those floor angles is to get the fucking cameramen off the court under the baskets....when are they going to figure out somebody is going to get seriously injured by those guys.

Yeah I'm sure their jobs are difficult and they mostly only get feedback when they fuck up. I do appreciate the hard work.

The constant replays have been something that irks me for years though. Just too many of them going on during live game action. It's every game we miss Ed Davis pressure in the backcourt or the start of a play somewhere. Yes it usually doesn't go to the level of missing an actual made basket. But there are tons of basketball action we miss. This isn't just one or two plays out of a rare game. It's an occurrence every game. As a viewer we're helpless to do anything about it. Would be really nice to be able to see the entire game when watching the game.

Agree with Mike and Mike. They have some really good insight when they actually talk about it but I feel they try to dumb down the broadcast way too much. The nonstop bitching about refs is so distracting and makes it hard to follow the game. Maybe they have studies that show that's what the Portland market wants to hear. If so that's more sad about the knowledge of Blazer fans. For me; I'd prefer commentary without the conspiracy theories.

I mean... I've watched other broadcasts and a lot of other commentators do the same thing. Houston and LAC are the WORST.

I love Mike and Mike. Two best announcers in the business, and that's including national broadcasters.

You can tell they know their shit, even if they are somewhat homerish.

When Steve "Snapper" Jones did the broadcasts he was so grumpy. He was better doing network games but when he was with Portland you could tell he didn't like the team.

Yeah Houston is bad too; might be the worst. I think one of the Boston announcers sleeps during the game; that or he's dead. Don't like them. The majority around the league are solid. The Knicks are the best. Jazz have good announcers. Blazers have great chemistry and interesting points; its just so over the top with the homerism.

Yeah he was a bit too much negativity to be an every game home announcer. There needs to be a balance in the middle of the two extremes.

With Mike and Mike I think they have a good mix of harping on Blazer mistakes and acknowledging good plays.

The only problem with them is the non stop lobbying for calls or complaining about the refs whistling it late. "its a steal by Crabbe NOOO theres a foul". "Travel by Dragic NOOO they don't call it". They focus way too much on the officials. Call them all by the first name as if their just as important as our players. We all get it; the refs make mistakes. Focus on the game.

That's what made him and Walton so great together on the NBC broadcasts.

    Yeah, I guess.

It's like going to a restaurant hungry for a good steak and all they have is Escargot and Caviar and shit like that. When you say you don't like it the chef says you don't understand classy food and it's award winning stuff you wouldn't know anything about.

Well, watching a basketball game is more like a steak dinner than a fancy snob 5 course meal. Just give us what we want.

Nah, it's like going to a steakhouse and they don't have steak. They have some fancy shit that you never wanted in the first place.

The restaurant would close because people have other choices. Blazer funs are fucked, it is this or nothing. Maybe for shits and grins they should show a whole game only from the remote control blimp flying all over the arena.

Why does Blazer Broadcasting always charge so much for the Blazer gear they advertise on TV?!?

Speaking of that, I love when Rice inadvertently throws shade at the item and/or price during their read of the promo. Hilarious shit.

Why does Blazer Broadcasting broadcast losses? I only want to see wins, dammit!
