Really? No, you have. You said you'd vote no and don't want to decriminalize it.

So that means you are advocating for people "that can handle it" to be convicted for possession...

 

I don't use this stuff....nor alcohol anymore..nor Tylenol or aspirin, etc...wife does though.

 

The doctor in the emergency room gave me a perscription for this stuff for the chest pain I was having.
It was pretty good stuff, but did not last long, perhaps an hour.

I told my wife, I think perhaps Ibprofen and a six pack might work better. It did, three pill, two 16s and sleep for hours.

 

I said I'm leaning towards decriminalization....and I've said before....I'm fully aware of what I post dviss..stick to the subject and I'll decide what to advocate for when there is a sensible approach to decriminalization and safety in place concerning mental illness...the mental illness triggering tendency of the magic mushroom is a flag....nothing to do with some fear of a police state arresting me for eating mushrooms...the laws on Native American reservations seem to work just fine. I'm open to discussions about the process but as is....I cam see problems from making it something other than it already is.

 

It's pretty simple... Every addict doesn't commit crime so why criminalize possession? This ain't minority report.

 

Show me good info for this from a reputable source or it's just biostitute talk.

 

I'm thinking you haven't read many of my posts here....so until you have an idea of what observations I've made concerning legalization of shrooms...please try not to be speaking for me here...express your views and I'll actually read them whether I agree or not

 

That was the doctor's prescription for the pain, 3 Ibprofen and a oxycontin. I soon change it to 2 and 2 lites. It worked well and much longer. Oxy is too damn addictive to take for pain very long.

 

I've already posted an article I found about mental health and mushrooms..beyond that you can do research and learn about the pitfalls of psychotropics on people at risk for breakdowns...I'm here for the discussion...make your case and prove to the thread that there are no flags concerning the ballot and I'll read them....my views are my opinions ...I've only posted one article about them...many articles I read say they just don't know enough yet about the long term effects but they do know about the trigger and one of the symptoms is chronic panic attacks.

Weed is still federally a Schedule 1 drug, on par with meth.

It's wrong. It bogs down our court systems. It wastes money.

Worst of all, it isn't working. There's an "opioid crisis" now (black people never got a"crack crisis"). It's criminalizing it fixing it?

Giving someone a felony for possessing a drug doesn't stop them from using.

 

I had to look up "biostute" ….urban dictionary says it comes from biology worker combined with prostitute...……..learn something everyday...well...I've never worked in the biology field but damn...apparently there's money to be made selling made up information about consumables...who'd have guessed?

Well, data shows that when you decriminalize and put the resources you would use policing it toward prevention and recovery, you actually do achieve the end goal, minimizing usage.

 

I have said I agree with a lot of decriminalization however I have areas of concern...one of them is magic mushrooms...another is meth...cannabis is nothing like either of those in my view. The local cops have done an amazing job of cleaning up the small mountain town I live near of tweakers and meth cookers...20 years ago they were everywhere here and crime was high.....now they've pretty much moved out, died or are no longer here for whatever reasons and I think my community was well served by getting rid of them. I'm glad nobody starts a fire cooking meth near the thousands of acres of woodlands bordering my property.

 

You aren't reading my posts …..I said it triggers mental illness in folks that are on the edge of having breakdowns ..not that is causes mental illness but that it opens the door to it and gives it a race car and in some cases destroys their lives. I also worked with some of these folks counseling ...my coworker's brother has been disabled for 20 years from a mushroom experience...all of these things I've posted but as I've said.....find your own material about the issue and post it here....I'll read it and I won't disrespect you for posting it even if I don't agree with it

Some do, some don't.
When my brother was taken to the hospital by two police for mental evaluation they joked with each other while I cried in the back of their patrol car on the way to the hospital. Yeah, there are or were some with no understanding or empathy for those with serious mental problems. Can't argue with what I know to be true.

On the other hand, some do have the training. Sometimes you gotta take a chance.

 

Now that is an addiction although in the end my heart suffered the karma of my deeds....the first rule of heartbreakers club is no one speaks of heartbreakers club! Strangely enough I just returned from picking up my heart meds

 

I still harbor guilty feelings about breaking some hearts.
