Anyone care to enlighten me as to why certain players pull their socks up over their knees? Is it simply to keep their poor legs warm or is there something more scientific about it? maybe just fashion? Either way it looks bloody silly. One thing you never see either is players with their socks rolled right down round their ankles like we used to. Am I right in thinking that's a rule nowadays? and tucking your shirt in, they all do it now. Why? :x
Are you stupid? It's obvious that the reason why they pull their socks up is because it stops them grazing their knees. And I happen to think it looks wonderful, dead cool. Another thing, dimwit...leaving your shirt untucked causes drag which in turn slows the player down when darting to the corner flag after scoring a goal. Thirdly, socks rolled down is illegal because it may expose the ankle, which of course may be offensive to Muslims.
