Re: Aldridge Hip MRI comes back abnormal

There is an article posted in the other Aldridge thread already. Recovery time is 2-4 months. It's not as serious as his college injury to the other hip.

Chad Buchanon just said on trailblazers.tv that LMA had a similiar surgery on his other hip in college.

Hey I'm learning from the master:

The next Blazer coach will suck and Blazers will eventually realize this and fire him. When that coach is fired, show me someone who called it earlier than me.

What do you think, few more of these predictions and I'll have MM crediblity around here.

Bummer, was really hoping he'd be working on post moves this summer.

    And Aldridge said.....
mtokito: Aldridge said this hip injury is nowhere near as bad as the left hip surgery he had in college.

glad our doctors weren't able to see that, and he had to fly to Colorado to have someone spot the issue.
I know our medical staff has been talked about to death, and I know things get missed, but an overhaul would be nice. Just for peace of mind, almost, more than anything. Teams fire coaches when teams aren't winning, even if it isn't necessarily the coaches fault. Can' we do the same thing with training staff. Maybe not their fault, but after years of poor health, seemingly, can we just start fresh.

I want to say the Colorado Dr's are used by our team all the time, but I'm not sure. Regardless, the entire staff needs to be overhauled, IMO. The Biomatricmechanics thingy was the last straw.

I heard a rumor they employ illegals to keep costs down! Even the tight-wad accountant in me cannot support that!

    Please win the lotto!

I don't think I can handle another injury to a franchise pillar.

Oh, and Cody Zeller (possible PFOTF) going back to Indy fucking sucks.

Aldridge went to Vail for a 3rd, not 2nd opinion. He then chose to have that doctor operate, passing up the usual Blazer doctors. This tells me that he doesn't trust the usual Blazer doctors and physical staff any more than we do.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. As I said yesterday, with all the changes we've been quick to make, why the fuck does our training staff still have jobs? We've had major injury issues, some of which can be blamed on the players make-up, yes, but I think some of the recurring injuries, both big and small, have a lot to do with our medical and training staff. I mean, shit, we blame the coach for lack of performance of the team, which has been hindered by injuries. Well, why not blame the guys responsible for keeping the players healthy?

Why blame them? Maybe it's just time for a change.

    Most of them anyway.

Sadly, in all seriousness it is the best run part of the Blazers
