    Blazer home games = HD
Away games = generally not HD if they aren't being nationally broadcast

Just be glad you're seeing the games at all. Beggars can't be choosers.

Comcast emailed me back and said to contact Verizon. :sigh: This was after I included in the Email that the issue was *not* limited to Verzion and the Comcast users were having the same problem. No I know they are probably just thinking well I am not a Comcast subscriber so they are not going to waste time helping me... but I am subscriber to the service they are providing in CSNW.

Dont let them fool ya. It's their fault. Comcast needs to and will have to boost CSN's signal or else it's going to get ugly. (already has thanks to many of you) I'm looking forward to Monday's game to see if its better.

YES. So we can compare KGW's SD picture to the picture we've seen on CSN SD. Of course, I'll be watching the game on KGW's HD channel!

So what are the odds that CSNW will be in HD anytime in the future? Watching the game on TNT last night was a billion times better experience than watching it in SD.

I agree talman... but unless you have Comcast I don't think you will get HD. Hell... comcast can't even send SD yet! I bet they will use HD as a selling point for them. I pressed Verizon and was told they had no plans. Whether that is because Comcast wouldn't provide the feed... or Verizon didn't want to provide it... I don't know.

    Huh?

I pay to see NBA games. If Comcast weren't showing them I'd be seeing the Blazers games broadcast by other teams... and the picture quality would be about 10 times better.

    "Just be glad" my ass.

I still haven't heard back from this email I sent Wednesday night to 'contactus@comcastsportsnet.com' :

I am a Comcast subscriber in Seattle. I am a life-long Blazers fan and I was excited that I would be able to hear and see the Blazers' broadcasts (I subscribe to League Pass, and have for several years, but I don't get the Blazers' crew).

This year has been a massive disappointment for me. The picture quality on Comcast Sports Northwest during the Blazers games is, to be perfectly honest, the worst picture quality I have ever seen.

No HD broadcasts have been available, so I have been watching in SD... and it's embarrassing and frustrating to watch other games with other teams in standard definition and then come back to channel 179 and feel like I've had vaseline smeared all over my television screen.

Is there any explanation for this? Is there any plan to improve?

    Thank you.

    Ed O.
