Quarter-finals: Paraguay v Spain

I'm not worried about Spain, I just wanted to see Paraguay upset them.

If Cacau is not 100%, then I would go with an attacking midfielder like Toni Kroos or Marko Marin.

 

Marin is pretty fast, but just too small though. No Gomez?

 

I would go for Kroos and strengthen the midfield more so that Germany can retain possession. Spain is similar to Barcelona, their strength lies in the midfield, should Germany control the midfield, they take away Spain's chances of creating anything.

 

Gomez is a selfish player when he's on the pitch, more particularly as a sub.

 

Yeah he's selfish I agree, but a damn good player, plus he's spanish so he might have something extra for spain.

 

I agree, watching Spain play is identical to Barca, it's amazing how similar the system is. Just playing good defense usually you can disturb their attack and get a win.
