    How does logically it doesn't matter? IT'S TWO POINTS. YOU GAINED A TWO POINT ADVANTAGE. That's logic in a nutshell. All those other ones are gaining an advantage for an OPPORTUNITY of 2 (or 3) points... the one you DONT get mad about is an almost surefire way to get points? That doesn't make any sense...

    How does 2 pts relate to a traveling turnover? Then it's NOT 2 pts..now that doesn't make any sense to me unless I've misunderstood your point here

    You did. If you don't call the player for GAINING AN ADVANTAGE... then they get 2 points they otherwise should have been negated. Getting points is of the UTMOST advantage.

    All whistles aren't blown for advantage disadvantage. There are black and white calls. If you step on the line it's out no matter what. 3 steps in high school or college is traveling. Black and white.

    Reality is not black and white. The cognitive dissonance between what I think is right and reality is what makes me angry. One method not to be angry at basketball is not to care about that dissonance anymore.

    There are black and white calls and There are gray area calls. Out of bounds, over and back, illegal dribble, 8second violation etc. are all black and white calls that don't require qualifiers.

    As opposed to all those other games when the refs don't do stupid shit like that? Like you've implied before, the NBA is refer very poorly, based on judgment calls and reputations.
