No, but they have an NBDL coach.

    I should have known . . . it's the coaches fault.

Did you see the developmental team beat an NBA team on the road, on the second half of a back to back. Not to bad for a developmental team. :D

I'm probably misunderstanding, but, uh, CLE lost last night.

MM is setting the stage for crucifying the Blazers (or should I say Nate) if they lose tonight . . . "can't lose a home game when the other team is coming off a back to back"

Well Clev didn't lose a home game to a team coming off a back to back . .. but they lost 2 games in a row including one to the Raptors. Just wondering if MM now puts Clevland into his developmental team category . . .

And I answered that they have a shitty coach.

Portland shouldn't lose tonight. Top to bottom, Portland has more talent than Denver, although it's close. They have also had an extra day to look at film. If the team loses tonight, it won't be because we were beat by a better team.

And if we lose tonight, is it only because we have a bad coach?

Denver knocked on the door of playing for a world championship last season. They challenged the Lakers and some would say they improved with the additions of Affalo and Lawson. On top of that, Carmello Anthony, a star for his team and the Olympic team, is coming into the season as healthy as he has been in a year.

It is the begining of the year so back to back games really aren't going to effect players as shown by Houston (a terrible team) winning on the road in a back to back game. Boston also won their back to back game making teams playing back to back 2-2.

Given Denver's post season last year and the fact they have improved this season, makes them one of the top teams to beat this year. Frankly I don't know if the young Blazers can compete with all that . . . if they do manage to win, it will be because of the coach.

If we lose tonight, it is my opinion it will be because Denver scored more points then us.

    No.

Someone could get hurt, or be targeted by the refs.

    Portland has more talent
    Portland is playing at home
Portland had an extra day to prepare
Portland is an 8 point favorite, according to Caesars. (You get 5 just for being the home team in case no one knew that)
