You should really check before you post. Of course it is illegal to have a "blacks only" business. Or a "Christians only" business. Or an "over 50 only" business. Are you going to tell me you never saw ads for Christian Mingle? I see them every show I watch. And I see ads for an over 50 dating site. Businesses can, however, orient and advertise to any demographic. There is nothing to stop me, a Jewish born atheist lesbian, from posting a profile on Christian Mingle. I don't because I know I'd be unlikely to find a match there. It's not much different from advertising "black" hair care products. They are formulated for a hair texture African-Americans are more likely to have, but nothing would stop me from buying them if I want (which I don't because I use no scented products). Facts are stubborn things. "Black colleges" began because "regular" colleges were white only. They are not now black only. They are called "historically black" colleges because that is their history. Women's colleges were established for the same reason. Most are now coed. The issue of whether coeducation or sex separation is better educationally is a big debate, and unresolved. But don't let facts get in the way. Mediocre man, you are welcome to sign up for a gay dating service any time. You probably, however, choose not to.
