To be fair....clipps still have a good number of real fans...if chris paul leaves, no one will support that franchise
Maybe it's always been his dream to own an NBA team and now he realizes he can only afford a slimmed down team. Besides they haven't got that far with Paul in the past so maybe they want to try something new, take a chance on Oden being a superstar.
And since I think this trade is about money; here is one that would really help the Hornets: We take Paul, Okafor and Posey; we give out Pryzbilla, Miller, Oden, Batum, Webster and Pendergraph. (this works on Realgm) They get two potential superstars, a cheap replacement for Okafor, two expiring contracts and Webster, who is still young with a reasonable contract. It would really leave us hurting at small forward, maybe they could turn Rudy into something or I think Mike Miller is a free agent isn't he?
