The rabbi that helped Ivanka Trump convert to Judaism sent a condemning letter to his congregation on Wednesday evening, slamming President Trump's "two sides" rhetoric in response to Charlottesville. According to a letter published by NYMag, Rabbi Emeritus Haskel Lookstein joined his religious colleagues in calling out the violence and hatred present during a protest turned deadly last weekend. “We are appalled by this resurgence of bigotry and antisemitism, and the renewed vigor of the neo-Nazis, KKK, and alt-right," the letter reads.
