I can't imagine Radman having too much success in Charlotte. Brown is a coach that has always preached and asked for defense out of his players, and Vladdy has never been the best at that. And Shape is right, if he starts losing his focus or his shot isn't dropping, he's going to get buried on Larry's bench as fast as he got buried in LA.

I remember VC was really high on Shannon Brown. He really was (or should have) been the centerpiece of the deal. Adam Morrison is arguably one of the worst players in the NBA.

You're quite right about that, I loved this trade actually, it gives us someone at the 1 that can defend and helped us clarify that Luke is probably just as good as Vlad and gave Trev more time at the 3. When we need shooting at the three we play Sasha next to Kobe anyway, and it's not like we're missing out on Vlad's defense.

Loved the trade before, love it now.

Shannon has really stepped up lately and has been the first player off the bench. He hasn't disappointed either. I read that his biggest weakness is his shooting. Apparently he has a horrible jumper and doesn't have range on his shot. Well maybe putting on purple and gold helped his shooting, since it certainly doesn't look bad with us :]

His defense is also 10xs better than Jordan's.

I read around and the coaching staff is not happy with Jordan, and his lack of development, obviously. There's speculation that he will be packaged with Morrison this offseason for a trade. Together they are about 7 million in expiring for 2010, and we can use that to pick up a solid bench player from those teams looking to clear up more cap, and find a replacement for either Trevor or Lamar (if they leave in free agency), or use it to get another point guard. We can resign Shannon for cheap.

Vladrad was redundant on the roster anyways. Glad to see him doing well with the Bobcats. He wouldn't have gotten the chance to do that with us though, unfortunately. Still prefer him over Luke, but it's whatever. I'll let Mitch work his magic though, he has earned my trust and respect. :]
