The Raiders made their final pick of this year’s NFL draft - and then added another player. Oakland agreed to a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, dealing former second-round pick Jihad Ward in exchange for receiver and returner Ryan Switzer, the Cowboys announced. Switzer (5-foot-8, 185) was a fourth-round pick in 2017. In his lone season in Dallas, he caught six passes for 41 yards but contributed heavily on special teams. Switzer returned 29 punts for 256 yards and a touchdown and 24 kickoffs for 600 yards. The Raiders traded last season’s kick returner, Cordarrelle Patterson, to the Patriots. Jalen Richard, their primary punt returner in 2017, remains on the team but had issues with ball security. Switzer’s arrival continues an overhaul of Oakland’s receiver group. Along with free-agent acquisitions Jordy Nelson, Dwayne Harris and Griff Whalen, the Raiders traded for the Steelers’ Martavis Bryant on Thursday and drafted receiver Marcell Ateman in the seventh round. read more https://www.sfgate.com/raiders/article/Raiders-trade-DE-Jihad-Ward-to-Dallas-acquire-WR-12872168.php
