Thank You, you can't even compare the role players. Even the bench sucked.

Basically Kobe should be punished for not playing in the East.

No he's a selfish ballhog for not making a roster filled with so much talent win a championship. Afterall, look at how well those guys are doing in the league today. I see so much success after they stopped playing with the ballhog.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

I'm underwhelmed by that list of players.

    Except Gasol.

Battier is a career 10/4 guy.
    JWill a 10/6 guy.
    Wells 12/5
    Posey 9/5
Miller 14/5 (the best of the bunch?)

Eddiy Jones played one and a part of a 2nd season for Memphis, putting up 11.8 PPG on 40% shooting near the end of his career.

Oh and btw Denny, Wade isn't really being considered for MVP, he doesn't even fit your own criteria. Or did you forget already that 45 wins is not that impressive?

    Wow man. :[

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

Yeah because our roster was so much more impressive.

Jones, Battier, Posey are defensive specialists, some of the best in the league. Lol.

+18 means wins this year compared to last year.

I know but it's such a funny point. Wade played terrible last year.

Same could be said for AI's teammates, yet he led the Sixers to the Finals in 2001.

    Stats aren't everything.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

Ignore the facts. +18 is the number of wins difference between last season (when he barely played) and this (when he's healthy and an MVP candidate).

Beating the strawman like a dead horse.

Battier should be judged just with offensive numbers. Sweet.

He doesn't fit your own criteria, read your old posts.

Wins clearly aren't just about one mega star, or are you saying Jordan sucks more than Pau?

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

The Lakers were terrible without Kobe in 05, don't see why he should be punished for being more durable than Wade even in a bad year. +18 because Wade's career low is pathetic.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

Let Kobe play in 51 games at Wade's level in 05, the Lakers win 45 in the west the next season; easily more impressive.

Wade would've taken this team to the Finals.

If only we had Wade.

Will Wade crack 45 wins? Denny's barometer starts at 50.

Is it about Wins or is it about how many games you can miss the season before you win an MVP?

Do you understand the English language? I said not "really" considered. I'm sure some of the Psychos down here will support him along with some other "Mavericks". ;[
