I didn't know Kobe had to fracture his ankle by game 51 in order to get the MVP.

    My bad bro. :O

    Another two strawmen.

My criteria is difference in wins with vs. without the player, not the best player on the winningest team.

    +18 is huge.

Yeah the Cavs and Lakers wouldn't suffer at all now that you mention it...

1889 stories means he IS being considered for the MVP. Really considered. 1889 times considered.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

When they vote for MVP, he won't get serious consideration. Sorry brah.

I'm not even a Bron fan but he's more deserving.

1889 second rate stories don't mean anything.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

    Looking for the facts here.

"won't get serious consideration" - prediction, opinion, no fact here.
"Bron is more deserving" - opinion, no fact here.
"1889 second rate stories" - when the facts don't support your case, attack the facts. That's a loser.

The top 5 or 10 candidates will all get serious consideration for the MVP award.

If the Celtics dump the Lakers in the finals again this year, maybe it's Pierce's turn to be MVP.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

You're full of opinions, are you a loser too?

You're kidding yourself, you know the criteria is Wins, not +whatever. You are simply lying to yourself.

What are you going to say now, that I'm a Bron fan? I'm being objective, don't believe me then.

Any award that places Pau Gasol ahead of Jordan's early regular seasons is flawed. Your trophy has no value.

Thankfully "your trophy" doesn't exist. This year a real deserving candidate will win, Bron or Kobe.

Why do you want to close it? I enjoy watching someone of his "status" embarrass himself.

Re: How D-Wade chooses his MVP

i think Kobe s the player he is today talent wise... the system they run didn't suit him though

a lineup of butler, kobe, odom RIGHT NOW would get you 45+ wins

Re: How D-Wade chooses his MVP

Talent wise Kobe was, but he's a much more intelligent player now and picks his spots a lot better.

And that lineup would get you 45 wins....assuming Butler can stay on the court, something he has troubles doing.

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

^LOL it took him 8-9 years to be a more intelligent player when it comes to picking his spots? (wade shoot better than kobe and is only a 5th/6th yr player)

talk about a late bloomer haha

bottom line... Kobe has a chance to win MVP if he plays his cards right...

    Re: How Wade chooses MVP

I can't say I'd call him a late bloomer. He knew how to pick his spots when playing with Shaq. The first couple years in the post-Shaq era, he didn't get to pick his spots because he HAD to be a somewhat selfish player because his team wasn't going to win without him doing that.

And Wade is not a better shooter than Kobe.
