I feel for ya, LB. I went though the same thing when Roy Williams left KU. You'll get over it though, I know I did.
Whose to say he can't recruit. He coached UA freaking B, and then a Missouri program that wasn't anything special until he got there. If he goes to a better school with a reputation, he might start getting better recruits. And now with his Elite Eight run, he has more of a reputation.
Calipari was getting recruits like Wagner when Memphis was going to the NIT. Calipari's ability to recruit is unmathced.
I have never bought shoes that cost more then $50 bucks. It just seems like a total waste of money, IMO.
I used to spend $100-150 on Jordans. Now, I try not to go higher than $75. Perhaps because I no longer care about shoes. I can't remember the last time I bought a pair.
I have a Journalism midterm next week, and then after that, no big exams until Finals. Have three big papers, and a revision of one of those papers left to do this semester. Not too worried. Have about 15 credits locked up as A's. 3 credits at a B right now. Will try to get it up to an A, B+/A- would be fine as well, as 3 credits is no biggie. My list right now is: Texas, UCLA, Arizona, FSU, Northwestern, and Columbia. As long as I get accepted to Texas I'm going there, unless there is a beastly financial aid offer from one of the others. But have to apply to the others just in case I don't get in, but I don't foresee that happening.
Why would you want to go to UCLA? The University of Toronto is one of the best colleges in North America. York University is also a pretty good college, I thought about going there for a degree in cognitive science but the lack of aid was a killer.
