Tattoo is art. Some love it, some hate it. Its his money and not a stupid decision in his eyes. I love tats, but I'd never spend that much on one.
It was spider webs, or some liney thing covering his entire arm. He used money he was supposed to be paying his university bill with to pay for it. I know a lot of college students who get tattoos...but that's for $100 or so. You're an idiot if you're getting a $2,400 tattoo as a poor college student, and you're paying for it with money you need to use to pay your bill.
