I didn't mean it like that. But it was funny as hell cause Ludacris and Chingy said everything while Oden stood there smiling. He was a giant compared to those guys. [IMG]

I can't wait till next year. They are coming out with a new ride at Wonderland called the Behemeth, and it has an 85 degree drop and is over 5,500 feet long (1660 Metres i think) It gets up to 125Kph in under 3.5 seconds. Man, I'm gunna be first in line for that ride.

That's nothing compared to the Kingda Ka in Six Flags Great Adventure (in NJ). It goes from 0 to 206 km/h (128 mph) in 3.5 seconds, with a 90 degree drop from the top (which is 456 feet/139.5 meters high). It's 3,118 feet (950 meters) long and it's about a 28 second ride. The tallest and faster roller coaster in the world, and I was on it in the first row with my friend a year ago. It was awesome, and luckily we used a Fast Pass and shortened the line (we still had to wait around an hour though, the regular line was around 4 and a half hours long). The lines can reach 5 or even 6 hours some days.

Let's Grow and Life are my favourite songs by him. I love him as an artist, dude is so damn underrated. He has the exact same flowing style as Eminem almost, and most of his beats are tight as hell. I forgot the album, but one of his albums that released in like 2003 or 2004 is dope as hell. Listen to Let's Grow though, the beat on that track is crazy.

I went to Toronto again last nite and got smashed. I love the downtown atmosphere. They were checkin ID's though so I couldn't buy alchohol straight up myself but I obviously got my share and got drunk. I sobered up faster then my other friends though, those dudes were ****** out of thier minds, to the point where they'd do beyond stupid ****. Alchohol brings memories, but it also brings dangerous ass situations like the what some of my friends did yesterday.

Man, Wonderland sucks. I used to love it before but now it's like the same rides over and over again. This new ride your talkin about sounds tight though, I'll check it out next summer. My favourite ride was and always will be Psyclone, that ride is so chillin its not even funny. Vortex and Psyclone are the ****. None of those rides are scary anymore but I used to hate going on the Bat and Cliffhanger when I was younger.

Timbaland's album is not bad. I like some of the songs on there, but his beats are tight as hell. Some of them are starting to sound eerily similar though, but they're great nonetheless.

Yea, I get board of wonderland, but I still like it. Psyclone is bomb. Sledge Hammer hurts my junk. The ride is gunna be the best ride wonderland has to offer for a long time. It is 26 Million. Top Gun I find is still fun and Drop Zone is old.

    Lol, as of right now..YES!

I'm getting a new laptop this week, and I start co-op too at the Toronto Sun. I have a interview with them sometime. Hopefully it will help with my Sports Journalism.

My car insurance is only 1400 a year, 200 less then before, so I can buy some new shoes and clothes.

So true. International basketball just seems to flow better than NBA basketball. It's a smarter, more tactical and a more interesting game as well. Sure, the top NBA teams are much better than other top teams around the world, but that may not be true in 3-5 years. International basketball is slowly becoming a better all-around product than the NBA, where money and internal problems are becoming too big a part of the league, and if the league doesn't make some changes the NBA will be surpassed surprisingly soon.

I doubt that. As much as the perimeter rules are better in FIBA, the NBA is ****ing rich and that's all that counts.

It really is all those things you mentioned. I compare it to college basketball, but with some more experience and skilled players. The flow is a lot more entertaining and fundamentally sound.

I think a lot of it also has to do with the officiating. The FIBA refs have not played a major factor in any outcomes. They have a better understanding of how to let the players dictate the flow instead imposing their whistle on them.

It's a shame FIBA, Las Vegas, and TV networks didn't do a better job of marketing this tournament. The stadiums have been empty and the games are shown at weird times on TV. You just don't hear much about it unless you're actually watching the game itself.

Once FIBA brings in a competent marketing group who can sell to the US basketball consumers and get more national exposure and eventually more money to spend on players, I think it can compete with the NBA.

The product is more appealing to watch than the current NBA. The players handle themselves a lot better as professionals than a lot of current players in the league. You rarely see a player getting upset with calls, and when they do the officials calm them down and explain what they saw. Instead of trying to show the player up and escalating the complaint.

    There, that's better.

Alright people, it has been very disappointing there is no effort here to learn more about foreign basketball in the Euroleague forum. Get over there and start reading up on current preview club CSKA Moscow instead of living in the OT forum!

Real Madrid BC alone have more money then the entire NBA does.

Thanks For updating my post. But I wasn't watching basketball in 99, so it is still right now.[IMG]

Seems kind of overzealous to say don't you think? You're also including their football earnings.

I was speaking purely on a Baloncesto level. The NBA gives it's players the best contracts in basketball.

You also have to consider, that THE best players in the world are from the United States, and there is little reason for the superstars in this country to travel thousands of miles away when the NBA is begging to give them money in a more familiar atmosphere (language-wise and culturally).

Now some international leagues might be able to somewhat compete with the NBA in the future, but the NBA will be the most dominant league for decades at least.

You were commenting that the NBA is rich. I commented that most European basketball clubs are richer then the entire league itself. The point is the money as a whole, not a single source. Example, the NBA makes money from all the teams among dozens of other sources.
