Chutney, what do you think about UCLA losing Ryan Wright? Also, it sucks that Coach Cal is making Tre'Von Willis transfer. I played ball with him a lot in the U of M practice gym, and he was not only a great player but a great person. He was the only player on the U of M roster who I think had any character. Word is that he's looking at UCLA, USC, and Fresno State (he's from Fresno). At least he's likely going to a better situation.
Holy crap, I only just realized Karl Malone played 18 straight seasons of 80+ games, thats incredible (thats including the lockout season of 50 games in 1999)

That's just another reason why Malone and Duncan are the two greatest power forwards to play the game. Really, it's no contest. Who would even be close? Pettit? Barkley? Garnett? DeBusschere? McHale? Duncan and Malone are miles ahead of each of them.

Memphis is the preseason #1 team, and both Houston and UAB are tourny bound with big time transfers like Dowdell (Texas) and Vaden (Indiana). Hopefully we'll stay competitive with them. We return four out of our five starters from our .567 season last year. UTEP looks like they'll be competitive too. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll finish fifth, right behind them.
