<div class="quote_poster">NTC Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> Anyway, I want your opinions, does that sound like being "too negative" to you? Are my team mates just weak minded pussies who cant bare to hear the truth? Or am I just a negative jerk? </div> No. If nobody speaks up, things will never change. I myself was a playing coach for a team with players in my age last season. Even though it's hard to get everyones attention and respect, you have to convince them that what you are saying is for their own good. In order to get the message through, you have to practise what you preach. Tell them that everyone should offer constructive critcism to each other, and not get mad when they are are told something. Don't question past acts too much (unless it's something really stupid), but instead, try telling them in a nice way that "the next time you are in that situation, try doing this (the right action) in stead". From my own experience, I know that from my own experience, making negative comments (insulting or emarassing someone infront of the others) will bring the whole team down. If someone keeps doing the same mistake over and over again (for example, I had a guy who would chuck up threes almost every time he would get the ball, sometimes even on a fast break), then point out his mistake over and over again infront of the team, and try to get them to cuss him out too.

I was mainly at school to mess around and for social reasons and my parents got pissed off because they said they weren't paying for me to not try. So sophomore year I worked harder and bumped it up. Yeah, some people have ridiculous GPA's and they're always the ones who say they're dumb so that people tell them, "No, you're so smart!" It's like they need attention or something. There is this one girl who has a perfect GPA in my school but she has like one friend, never does anything with friends, and doesn't fit in because all she cares about is her grades. She got a 90 and it brought her 99% down to a 97% and she cried in class. Now I'm all for getting good grades and getting a scholarship but that's ridiculous. She has so much pressure on her, from herself and her parents most likely, that if she gets a low A she feels bad about it. That's just horrible and honestly, she's not taking as much out of high school as I am since I'm getting the social aspect too. If I did nothing but study and do homework, I could have her grades too. But I'm getting the social skills that she's not and I'll be able talk to people and make friends throughout my life while she'll probably struggle.

I know people like that in High School and I feel sorry for them, because there is no way you can get perfect on everything come University. It's life, people really need to live a little. Jobs and careers are really important, but there are a lot of things left in life to explore. Anyway, today was my yearbook and report card pick-up day. It was only from 9-11 that you could pick it up, but in fitting fashion, I ended up waking up late for school one last time (I didn't mean to), and woke up exactly at 11. I had to rush my sister to drop me off to school and when I got there, the office wouldn't let me pick up the yearbook and told me to come back on Tuesday. So, most of my friends were there (some of em already left), so I just got a peice of paper and got them to sign it lmao. Better than nothing at least. What a stupid way to end high school. I don't wanna come back on Tuesday cause I'm going to be in Toronto...I think I'll just get one of my friends to pick it up for me.
I just remembered that tonight while we're all enjoying the majority of the Draft, once in a while that loud ******* idiot Dick Vitale will have to annoy the hell out of me with his nonsense. The guy knows little about the sport and every year compliments the players that end up being flukes or has-beens. He always puts down foreign players no matter who they are because he knows absolutely nothing about them. I remember him saying that the Bucks were better off with Robert Traylor in that trade we'll never forget. Why do they keep this guy? He's the most annoying human being I've ever seen. I mute the damn TV because of his monotone and loud idiotic nonsense blabbing.
Yeah, that's the guy, damn. Who the hell is Dick Bavetta then? * EDIT: Ah yeah that's right, that old referee that wanted to have his 15 minutes at the ASG.

EDIT: Oops, just saw your edit haha.
I should continue that "old school" logo thing I had going in a few of the team forums like Raps and Knicks. I remember when I originally posted that Knicks logo nobody in there believed it was really the franchise's old piece.
Latest JBB Mock's up: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread...3462#post833462 We had to steal M Two One's graphics for it... News is that Atlanta's apparently 50/50 on whether to take Jianlian or Horford though. Ownership wants to take Yi, but Billy Knight wants Horford. If Yi does go #3 though, that'll shake up the rest of the draft tremendously. The Grizzlies would take Horford at 4, the Celtics (if they couldn't move the pick) would probably take Green, the Bucks would take Conley, Jr., and then the Timberwolves would have the scenario fall into their lap where they could take either Hawes or Wright, with Chicago likely taking the player they don't select. This is how that plays out in text - (a scenario for if Yi goes #3) 1) Greg Oden 2) Kevin Durant 3) Yi Jianlian 4) Al Horford 5) Jeff Green 6) Mike Conley, Jr. 7) Spencer Hawes 8) Corey Brewer 9) Brandan Wright 10) Julian Wright 11) Acie Law IV 12) Joakim Noah
Haha, cool with me VC. Don't forget to discuss tonight's Draft in the Bulls' 2007 NBA Draft Live thread.
God this sucks....I should be on my way to the draft party instead I'm sitting at work. And right now I'm really freaking out, because 2 major courses that I have already taken aren't showing up on my record......I'm sick of this damn phone ringing I need drinks......
Voodoo, ESPNNEWS reported about an hour and a half ago that Memphis is 50/50 on Conley, they fell in love with Noah. Do you have any news of this?
