Studying. The first time I took it, I didn't study/prepare at all because that's what everyone told me: there's no need to study. So I didn't prepare at all and went in blind. When I got the scores back, I was like "wtf?" I practiced for the next few tests, and you can see the difference. So, if you're school gives after-school SAT sessions, I'd highly suggest taking them because your scores can literally got up 100+ points with just a little practice. (I read the Princeton Review books, if you're wondering)
