It killed 65 people, a tragedy but not this percentage you speak of. This is for Miami at least, other states are different, etc.
I tvoed this a while back when it happened...I think Austin was chatting with the Coach.....the whole scenario was hella funny sorry to hear about those twisters.......
Eh, it's cool Dream. I'm just sick of it after so many damn days in a row and then ending with the worst one so far. YOu just think that you're lucky you didn't lose your home .. again and again and again, so on and so forth. This is the bastard that hit us today. The videos this guy shot are really close to where I live. <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UWp8M2RgmDc&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UWp8M2RgmDc&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div> <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zca9YF4lDFE&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zca9YF4lDFE&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div> <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1x47z1SAE-U&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1x47z1SAE-U&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>

lately I've been second guessing what I should do with my life..............I was planning to go to grad school for my doctorate, but at this point in life I'm really dreading another 6-7 years of college. I'm seriously thinking about getting my masters in a certain field and going from there...................With a masters I won't have to be in school as long, and I can still work while obtaining it. Most Psych doctorate programs don't want u working, therefore I'd be living off of grant money til I'm 30........I honestly don't know if I'm disciplined enough to do that........I know I can do more with my doctorate, but I'm thinking of getting a masters in psych or in another field that I have interest in...........

65 deaths in a spot that probably wasn't even populated, because of evacuation is alot, and Andrew wasn't that strong theres been cat 4 hurricanes stronger than Andrew
The small red circle is my home town, the big red circle is the location where the guy was filming those videos.

You said "slim" chance of living. Andrew hit two different states, and at least covered thousands of people with the eye, since it surprised the hell out of florida when it took a very sharp turn. There weren't that many "evacuated" people here because of how sudden it was. Most people thought we were quite clear from danger.

Well IDK about Andrew, cause we evacuated from that storm, but I remember a bunch of hurricane experts saying that being in a path of a cat 5 hurricane, is like being in the middle of a large f2 tornado.
It seems like there will be weekly tornadoes in Wisconsin/Illinois this summer. That January one here was pretty vicious, completely destroyed one of our taco joints. I assume there will be even more tornadoes in Missouri for me next year.
Andrew weakened when it hit the Gulf coast, it was a Cat 3. I would not have evacuated for that being where I was.
