<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brook Lopez is considered by some to be the best Center in the draft and at one point was predicted to be the third pick, but he has some significant flaws. His twin brother is the better defender and Brook was a pretty inefficient scorer in college for a 7 footer. I highly doubt Brook would be effective as an NBA Power Forward, especially after his poor combine numbers so I don’t see a twin tower combination of him and Darko being effective (although Darko has played some Power Forward).

In the final analysis, I just have no faith that Brook will be a better pro than Love so I have Love as the #5 pick.</div>

    what what what???

    What this BS

Averaging 19 a game, with no other offensive threat on your team, is not a effective scorer? Than you add Robin is a better defender? hell no! Robin got most of his blocks from the weak side, Brook is a far better one on one defender than he is. Who was asked to guard Spencer Hawes and kevin love not Robin.

and what with putting so much on combine numbers, Josh Smith wasn't the better athlete according to his combine numbers than Than Kris Humphries, but when the game is being played can you actually tell.

Brook was inefficient...he shot 46.8% from the field.

In comparison of other top big men.

    The Lovemaker: 55.9%
    Beasley: 53.2%
    Robin Lopez: 53.4%
    Kosta Koufos: 50.8%
    Javale McGree: 52.9%
    Deandre Jordan: 61.7%
    Darrell Arthur: 54.3%
    Marreese Spegihts: 62.4%
    Roy Hibbert 60.9%
    Devon Hardin: 55.4%
    JJ Hickson: 59.1%

the list goes on and on...Brook's not even close, he's by far a the low end.

The only BS is your response.

    1) Learn the difference between efficient and effective
    2) Defense is not just one on one
    3) Robin is definitely the better defensive player
    4) The Josh Smith combine comparison is ridiculous. Brook isn't some immature High School senior
    5) The combine numbers confirm what many of us have observed about Brook's (lack of) athleticism

I've told you for a long time that Brook isn't as good as you think. So sit back and bask in the highlight of his career of getting to #3 in mock drafts before players start working out for teams.

Random trivia quiz: Anyone know what (programming) language this board is written in?

On a related note, does anyone know any programming languages? C++? BASIC? HTML?

Some bastard telemarketer calls me, starting with, "DON'T HANG UP!! You've been selected to win a free cruise to the Caribbean!""
"BITCH DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! Wait... The Caribbean? I love that place. Will you be there? You sound hot"

    She hangs up [IMG]

when my kids paint there is just a mess everywhere, and I get stressed out about keeping the floors clean. It's not as bad as Play-Doh, though. That gets everywhere, and it takes longer to clean up then it takes to actually play with the stuff.

Buy a big blue tarp (10 feet by 10 feet) and make them paint on it and play with playdough on it.

you still have to clean all the equipment, get the play-doh back in its containers, etc.
