Man, that's nuts about Duffle Bag Boy. I was listening to that when I was typing in this thread this morning, when I was driving to the park earlier, and when I was out drinking last night. That was my song of the night yano. It brought me back to when it first came out. Those first few months it was insanely popular in New Orleans. I've just got good memories from it. I hear ya on the pump up too. You can all hate on Wayne all ya'll want, but he's put out some pretty hot tracks. M.I.A.'s a pretty good bar/club artist too, like Master Shake was saying. I like bumping her because really, everyone's gonna like it. Chicks LOVE M.I.A. for some reason. I really haven't met a chick who doesn't freak when I put her on, and if they've never heard of her before, they get into it eventually. Her songs also have ridiculous bass lines too, and the lyrics aren't that commercial. I mean, "I fly like paper, get high like planes" isn't a hook you'll have in a typical top 40 song. I also notice when I bump her I get a lot of weird looks from people in older generations. I can tell they're like "what the hell is that?" whereas most people from my generation would dig it. That sounds stupid, but every generation always has their things that the older generations just don't understand yano, and it's sorta uniting. And I don't hate Mayo, and just because I say the guy's not going to be a superstar doesn't mean I'm "bashing" him. This is the worst I've said - <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Now, Mayo is a good player. A great player? Maybe. But to think that O.J. Mayo is a superstar in the making as some posters on this board have suggested is an opinion influenced by the media. He's shorter than 6'4", can't run the point, averages more turnovers than assists, and hasn't functioned in an offense that doesn't revolve around him up to this point. He could be a star, maybe even an All-Star, but more than likely, he just becomes a brand-name.</div> I like Mayo, and I'll enjoy watching him and Gay, but this is like the Battier trade. You get the better player in the deal but still give up too much, and I don't think it'll help us win ball games. Basically, I like Mayo, but I don't like the trade. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>VC, all is well. We all go through our rollercoaster's in life, and unforunately, my ride took a steep dip for a while and I've been trying to figure it out ever since. I've been patching it together slowly, and the outlook is starting to look promising, but I'm not as far ahead by now as I hope. This all seems a little vague, but basically I f*cked up (in many things), and I'm trying to correct myself.</div> Bro, be as vague as you want and I still feel ya. Glad things are looking up, and it's good to have you back... it's almost like everyone from JBB is starting to slowly come on back this summer... feels like old times.

The Big East will be ridiculously stacked next year (then again, since the expansion that's something you could come to expect every year now). I'm working on my top 25 for next year, and unless I want nine teams in the ranking, I'll have to decide between teams like West Virginia, Syracuse, and Villanova for the last spot, and all three return great teams. It should be an absolute dogfight this year.

You have 3 shooters in Flynn, Devendorf, and Rautins. Paul Harris, who can do it all - except be a consistent playmaker/shooter. Jardine is great on the fastbreak, and his shot and playmaking skills are good, too. Odgenaet is nasty on defense, and started getting going near the end of the year - his defense was great, hustle was great, rebounding was great...he even got his shot going. Jackson was pure hustle - a big man who rebounded, blocked, and dunked on kids. Onuaku was a beast down low - a breakout player last year. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a 1st rounder by the team he leaves SU, he's progressed so well. Jones and Southerland are unknowns, but both are top-level recruits. They play forward, so we could use them to fill in the holes that Donte created when he left. I have my doubts about WVU this year, but Nova's gonna be really good. Although I'd put money on that if SU had Devendorf and Rautins, we would've swept them clean this past year.
LOL VC, get at me on AIM next time you see me. I need some Lil Wayne shit. My boy from VA got me hooked on him.

The problem is that the NCAA is going to be stacked next season. All the powerhouses are returning players in numbers I haven't seen since it became popular to leave early for the draft in the late 90's. You've got North Carolina returning every single one of their players that mattered, UConn doing the same, Duke returning everyone but Nelson, and Michigan State returning everyone but Neitzel (who shot MSU in the foot more often than not last year with inconsistent shooting and selfish play). Not to mention that all four of those schools are bringing in HS All-Americans. Then you have the non-traditional powerhouses that're returning nearly full rosters, like Marquette, Gonzaga, Purdue, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Miami, Notre Dame, Baylor, Wake Forest, Arizona State, Florida, etc. There's just a lot of experience coming back for a lot of great schools. Here's my early top 25 in print, but this is just more of a rough draft of the order, because right now I'm just focussing on compiling rosters and writing the team-by-team analysis rather than focussing on placing them in order just yet. That'll be the last step. 1) North Carolina 2) Connecticut 3) Duke 4) Oklahoma 5) Gonzaga 6) Pittsburgh 7) Purdue 8) UCLA 9) Louisville 10) Marquette 11) Texas 12) Michigan State 13) Wake Forest 14) Notre Dame 15) Memphis 16) Kentucky 17) Arizona 18) Tennessee 19) Arizona State 20) Georgetown 21) Florida 22) Syracuse 23) Baylor 24) Villanova 25) Wisconsin Trying to see if I can fit these guys in somewhere - Miami, West Virginia, UAB, Ohio State, Temple <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>LOL VC, get at me on AIM next time you see me. Wats up can't wait for Spain and Germany tomorrow. To bad Villa isn't playing, but I hear Ballack is doubtful to.

Damn I couldn't generate much interest in the draft this year with the Heat picking that high. I don't like the Heat at all but I always planned on following up on how Beasley does in the league. I feel torn but whatever.
You ever get that feeling that something is crawling on you, but you never really see it or feel anything when you go to swat at your arm or leg? I mean sometimes I'll know something was on me because I'll wind up with like a bite there or something, but for some reason that's been happening to me a shitload lately. I don't know what it is, but I just felt something crawl on my foot for like the fifth time today. My house does have a lot of bugs though, so who knows. And fuck, I just did it again, and I spilled the gin in the process. Damn it's late. I might go back to the park when the sun's coming up and shoot around again. That was a good time yesterday and really relaxed my mind from the night. There were a lot of crackheads walking around at that hour though, buggin the hell outta people. And tomorrow's sunday, so ppl will probably all be up for church and shit and see me playing drunk basketball, so I don't know if it's the greatest idea.
lol VC you Crazy. Nah it sometimes happens to me if I'm watching something with a crawly thing in it. For Example a film called Arachnophobia or something which has shitloads of spiders. Everytime i watch that i et the feeling they're on me

Because then when the bite tingles or itches I think something is crawling around there whenver it tingles or itches.

By the end of it, I kept seeing that spider in my peripheral vision even though it was never there. That was kind of creepy.
