I'm contemplating whether or not I should let my hair grow out for an extended period of time. It looks better when I have it at medium length and I can do that whole Growing Up Gotti gino style look, but I've never grown out my hair for more than a little over a month before and I wanna see how it looks grown out.

The thread was closed and moved, it was pointless, a stalemate...that's all.

I had longer hair, so I go to get it shaped up yesterday...next thing I know I have no hair. I was so pissed off about that, I'm just going to go buzz it again and start growing it over again. All my work since November, is now F'd because some stupid broad can't understand English.

    <div class="quote_poster">Karma Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">**** man, I had a pretty wierd dream last night.

The dream was basically me standing infront of a mirror and all my teeth are crumbling and falling to my hands and I'm left with no smile (which is one of my features that I happen to like). I run and somebody is about to call the cops about the teeth (?), and when I look back at the mirror, my teeth are back and apperently gleaming.

Sounds like a simple enough dream, but that was pretty scary I must say.

On another note, we should have a seperate OT thread on just dreams and people post whatever they can remember or try to analyze it. I've had some other nightmares in the past, but for some reason, this one I actually remembered (usually I don't remember my dreams). Past dreams should be discussed as well.</div>

A lot of dreams really shake me to the core, but that sounds more like a bad acid trip than a dream. I can't tell you how many trips me and my friends spend having fun looking in mirrors. If you ever trip out, you've gotta have a mirror handy.

I'm actually taking a class on dreams down at Tulane, right after my class called "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, and Disease," no joke. [IMG]

But after that, then it's all honors classes on boring things like experimental mathematics and cellular biology. [IMG]

    Guilty.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">ok, this is like 20 straight times I've listened to this song. I think I'm going to create a playlist devoted entirely to songs that I can listen to 20+ times in a row and not get bored of.</div>

I'm not huge on that song, but you gave me a great idea with the playlist.

You ever heard "Cymbaline" by Pink Floyd? Me and my brother used to wake up to that every morning in the summer. It's about nightmares or something, but we just loved the chorus... "It's hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggh time, cymbaline." Lol, in our interpretation, it was a song about getting high...

<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">becareful with that homie...next time a situation like that happens just tell the dude to chill out and respect the lady...if he still doesn't do it THEN beat his ass.</div>

Yeah, I probably came off as a hot-head, and I was, but it was one of those heat of the moment kind of things. Still nothing from those guys yet though. [IMG]

Anyway, I disagree with the closing of the Lil' Wayne thread, and so I'm going to move it back.

However, with that said, I think you guys are being overdramatic assholes about the whole situation. Our mods and tl's are on here volunteering their free time. You may disagree with some of the edits that the staff makes, but please, never come and bitch about it in a public forum. If you have a problem, post it in the Admin Drop Box, or take it up with the mod/tl personally via a PM.

There's a History course at my University called "Rock n' Roll and US History". I guess it's a popular topic to study about.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">My lunch is coming up in about 15 minutes. I have the sweetest setup. I don't take my lunch at 12/12:30 like everyone else, so that means I can do absolutely nothing for that hour, because the office is deserted. Then I combine my breaks and lunch together for an hour and half when everyone starts coming back. By the time I get back (usually 3:30'ish), I only have about an hour left till I can bounce.</div>

yeah I usually take 1 hour and half lunches and get back at 3:30 and have a couple of hours left in my day....I hate taking early lunches, it makes the day go by so much slower....I'd take it later if I could.

I don't know what it is about that song. I know that, musically and even lyrically, it isn't their greatest work. But for some reason I couldn't stop playing it.

Is that song one of their singles? I've listened to all their studio albums, but have yet to download their singles.

Off the top of my head, some of the songs that I want to put in this playlist are "House of the Rising Sun" (The Animals), "1983... (A Merman I Should Turn to Be)" (Jimi Hendrix), "War Pigs" (Black Sabbath), "Showdown" (Electric Light Orchestra), "I'm Only Sleeping" (The Beatles), "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" (Pink Floyd), and like three or four Led Zeppelin songs ("Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", "Stairway to Heaven", "No Quarter, ""Achilles Last Stand"). There's probably more, but I'll have to go through my mp3 player to find them.

The only reason he thinks Rakim is crap is probably because his cousin hates Rakim. And he always has the same rap views as his cousin as it is the "cool" thing to do. [IMG] He hates "Paid in Full" and "Follow the Leader".

Incubus is amazingly underrated (**** off ahead of time, M and Sasha [IMG]).

Their newer stuff isn't half as good as their work from the mid-90's though.

How do you make chicken tenders? Buy them frozen and then cook them?

When I get tenders, I get them from a local chicken place called Mr. P's that sells them cheap, and then I make my own buffalo sauce. I don't cook, but when it comes to any kind of chicken (fried, wings, tenders, etc.), I'm your man. It's a southern thing I guess.
