Randy Moss is great as a decoy. Problem is he won't accept that role, and in turn he will disrupt your locker room... which makes having him not worth it.

Thrilla, you think he ends up back in New England?

Anyone think Dallas would put a claim on him...just for the fuck of it?

Seriously, I'd like him in SD. With our deep field passing game, I think he'd like it here. And for two weeks now, Rivers has been throwing to practice squad receivers. Our #1, Patrick Crayton is a #3, at best.

    Won't happen, though.

Buffalo has first dibs, then Dallas. I would not be surprised at all if Jerry goes for him.

Seriously think Jerry Jones wants Moss. For one Wade Phillips is gonezo so Jones doesn't give a shit if Moss is a pain in his ass. Second he wants the spotlight and probably thinks this would actually spark his team. Thirdly, he and Al Davis are friendly competitors and I'm sure he'd love to pick up Moss for free just to piss off his old cronie.

I knew this would happen with the Niners when they acquired Troy. Troy Smith gets a lot of shit but I think he has an effect kind of like Gradkowski in Oakland; hes a guy who is very flawed and will never be the prototype of what you want in a QB but hes got the ability to make some plays. Hes not going to get you to a super bowl but on a team that is devoid of offensive firepower he is your best option because when Alex Smith is back there nothing is happening at all, while Troy Smith has plenty of flaws he'll make a few boom plays in addition to his bust plays.

Maybe if he cleared waivers and they could sign him for cheap. I don't think they are interested in paying 4 million for a receiver that only runs one route.
