Well they have to shake this one off quickly as Boston will be a tough one tomorrow night. I think games like this showcase why this team really needs to consider getting another scorer in here.

It was a bad loss all the way around. As a team, they did not look good.

Another scorer would be great, but they need to get physically stronger as well.

I said about Talbot, it was just a gut feeling about giving him a 2nd since he played well. He may have lost today too with the way they looked. I just think they defer to Lundqvist a little too much because of who he is.

They need McIlreith up here right now. I don't give a shit if he's not ready to be an all-star yet. What he will bring to the table is toughness, crease clearing and more importantly allowing our skill players room to skate and play without fear of being decapitated at any time. Moore has not played much lately anyway so why not package him, a prospect or 2 and see if we can pry moulson loose. Sather needs to be tied and gagged if he's contemplating upping his offer to Captain Delusional. He should call tampa immediately and add a prospect and get St.Louis who by the way scored again today. Losing this game to the flyers is sickening, The flyers suck!!!!

Here is how I look at this game. They beat the BlackHawks twice recently. They were due for a crapper.

Okay, I am NEVER going to another Ranger game. They lose everytime I go. This is 4 or 5 in a row at least. I am done. You all have my word on that...LOL.

Tough L yesterday. A win and they really could have separated themselves for that 2 spot in the Met division. Now with the L, and the fact that all the other Met teams won, they are right back in the mess with 3 or 4 teams. Blew a big chance yesterday IMO. Shame. Never easy for us.

Tonight is interesting also. Need to right the ship. With things so tight, you lose 2 in a row and it stings. Hank needs to play better tonight, he was not sharp yesterday IMO. Let's get a W tonight, and then we can feel a little better. An L and I'll be a touch concerned because we really have a tough schedule to start here as I called out my concern earlier in the week. Let's hope we play much better tonight.

And BTW...Dorsett is a moron. The guy takes dumb penalties. Carcillo has been MUCH better at what those guys are supposed to do. Shocking to say, but true.

This team has nobody that can take on another teams heavyweight or top middle weight. Eventually, one of our better players will get cheap shotted. IMO, this organization has not pushed getting McIlrath up here enough. They also need to get rid of Boyle and put a forward on that line with some legit size, intimidation and 4th line skill. I keep going back to Fraser on Boston. At this point I would be open to trading Cally to Boston for a 1st, Fraser and a 2nd in 2015. Put Fraser on the 4th line. A guy that will be willing to take on heavyweights. Certainly dopes like Simmonds and Hartnell until McIlrath is here. Fraser isn't a goon. He scored at a really good clip goals wise in the AHL the last 2 years. He can play.

I'd love to see them package Boyle and Dorsett for picks.

Boyes is having a solid year, maybe Fla would take Dorsett and a pick. I wonder if LA would trade King for Callahan.

You have a love affair with Boyes. Boyes makes Callahan look like Hagelin with his skating. He is way, way, way, way, way, too slow to be on this team.

I think Fraser is a lot like Graves. The Rangers got Graves before he broke out. I think Fraser will score 15-20 goals in another couple years with his toughness and then we have no chance to get him. The time to get that guy is now. Boston needs a defenseman. I would not be opposed to do this type of deal

    Callahan and Stralman

    for

    2014 1st
    Fraser
    Miller
    Knight

Miller is a right handed defenseman with some toughness. He can work into our lineup with McIlrath. They might want to platoon both of those guys to ease McIlrath in the lineup.

Florida just re-signed Boyes anyway, so no deal (he isn't the answer anyway just saying he was re-signed so not getting dealt).

Is never a bad thing to stock pile draft picks. We need to stock up our system a little.
