Yes, and I also noticed al that when kreider played well and came back up like last year unlike last year he wasn't put on the 4th line playing with spastics 6 minutes a game with no PP time. Everything is relevant and if you think torts didn't fu.. this kid last year you must be related to him.

BTW...I love that Boyle is willing to drop the gloves for this team and leave it on the ice, but man the dude needs to take some fighting lessons like they said on MSG. He didn't even throw a punch today.

And hats off to Dorsett as well. That dude is undersized for what he does, but game in and game out he stands up for anyone out there and takes on much larger guys. He was a huge get in that Gabby deal IMO.

Chuck, agree with boyle but do you think its time since he doesn't have enough pride to learn how to properly defend himself that the ranger coaching staff cements his gloves to his arms so that they can't come off. LOL

There is no doubt some people in here go way over the top on Torts Al, but you also go way too far the other way. You defend the guy like he is your brother. And there is simply no way to defend how he jerked Kreider around in my humble opinion. Torts is not the devil he is made out to be in here, we made it further under Torts then any other coach in 15 years, but he takes more of the "blame" then you want to give him.

I do like that no matter what is said you will always bring it back to someway to defend Torts. Like I said above, I give you credit for that...:).

Funny. I give Boyle credit. The guy couldn't beat up a 6 year old girl, but to stand up for the team he is willing to take his lumps. I am sure the guys in that locker room appreciate that.

I was waiting for Torts to take one of his brilliant time outs where he says nothing to his team. Interesting that Vancouver is 26th in the league in PP% despite their offensive firepower. Good for Kreider and MDZ, bush league for Bieksa to go after Boyle after the game was over.

I thought it was great to see Torts go off on Elder on the bench. I do miss the Torts rants. He was always a good show.

I just find it funny that what AV is doing to MDZ is EXACTLY what torts did to kreider. It is so easy to make the coach the issue. Whether its torts or renney. And in time i will defend AV when others want to get rid of him. .. and that day will eventually come.

Boyle would've been better served to just laugh and skate away. There's no reason to fight some stupid goon when the horn just sounded on a 5-2 win. Just point to the scoreboard and skate away laughing.

I would start Talbot again Monday, he's earned it and frankly i feel more confident with him right now.

No. Henrik is the King and he's started slow many times before. It's a simple matter of the team having to play as hard for him as Cam.

I don't know, I get what Lundqvist is to the team and city, but Talbot's won every game and has a 1.5 gaa, why not ride him for a 2nd straight game? That's what they strive for is someone who can give him an extended rest once in awhile.
