Exactly. Because none of Sathers free agent signings EVER really work

Sather has been flat out terrible here. People can save all the BS, I just look at results in a results business. And the results say NOTHING outside of one season. No home playoff series. No 3rd rounds. Many 1st round exits. Results are awful for Sather here. And that is also reality.

Horrible call, but it is the result of another turnover in the offensive zone ... The defense on this team is a joke, and until Sather gets off his ass and makes a move they will always be a joke.

It's time to watch the Saints Panthers game instead of watching this team get shut out by a goalie I have literally never heard of

A heaping pile of shit Prod. Outscored 6-1 since the Janssen goal. What a fragile team...

I am utterly baffled by that move by Moore on the first goal. Guy was playing fuckin hot potato with the puck

As always guys watching the puck sit in the crease and the other team has an easy tap-in. Then Lundqvist gives up the floater shortly after. I'm glad you're finally using the term minor rebuild Chuck, I knew you'd come around. :)

We are not fully on the same page sc. I am talking about the fact that we have a lot of cap space this summer and a bunch of FA's. That gives us a chance to add one more top 6 forward AND reshape the bottom 6 correctly this time. And complete the D with McIlrath here, and maybe one other vet. Be ready to roll big time next season.

You are talking adding picks. 2015. 2016. On and on. I am NOT there with you. I am talking about next season, and NEXT SEASON ONLY.

Im all about that Chuck, thats basically what ive been pointing to, getting past this collection of stupid mini contracts and reshaping things this offseason as well. Hopefully its done well because its a very critical one. Thats why having GS stick around is scary because we could end up with more crippling signings.

Bottom line is this summer will be our last real chance to re-shape the team a little for a while. Sather cannot mess this up. We need the right top 6 scorer added, the right bottom 6 players added, and the right vet dman added. Once this summer comes and goes we will be locked in for a few years at least. This summer is the time. Make or break time. I think that's pretty much the long and short of it. This summer or bust.

Scares me also that Sather will be the guy. I bet that means he stays for one more season so he can put his last imprint on the team this summer. He sees what we see, that this summer is it and after that we'll be locked in. Scary....

Every time i see the box scores and see Ryan / Seguin putting up points, i weep. Seguin is becoming the stud many people thought he would be and is averaging a pt per game and Ryan is scoring at a 40gl pace. What could have been if Sather was awake when those deals went down.

Basically most of the other gm's are younger and in tune with day to day things, whereas it seems Sather is always late to the party. He's still stuck in 1987 management wise, when FA was less important.

Ryan is the one who bothers me more. I think we would have had a better chance at him then swinging a deal with Boston. Shame really. We could have gotten it done. The only question mark is would we have had to include Kreider. I wouldn't do that. But I bet there was a way, Miller and some other kids, we could have gotten Ryan and kept Kreider. Water under the bridge now. We need to focus on the next "Ryan" to get moved I guess.

And I agree 71. Not saying you have to be young to be a GM, but it is not difficult to see Sather is out of touch. I doubt he is working all day and night. I doubt he is working the phones, and E-mail, and texts like most GM's do. I fear that's the reality of Sather right now.
