For god's sake, noone said that every win has to be easy. Noone wins every game easy in the playoffs. Just give us a complete 60 minute effort, and don't sweat it out till the last second every freakin game.

Here's the issue with what you are saying Step...there is another team out there trying their as* off to win as well. When the Caps fall down 2-0 guess what...that very talented team is going to raise their level of play to get back into the game. It is very rare in the NHL playoffs that teams get dominated from start to finish, and that is pretty much what you want/expect.

No team outside the Rangers has made the 2nd round for the past 4 seasons including this season. We have an ECF run in 2012, 2nd round in 2013, SCF run in 2014, and now 2nd round at least in 2015. That is SEVEN series wins in 4 playoff seasons, pretty darn good, but yet a large chunk of fans in here act like the sky is falling after every bad shift. It is comical and WAY over the top.

Now I am not here to judge any of you guys, you do what you want to do and if that means being a negative fan go for it, but don't get all fired up when someone calls it like it is. You should just embrace it man. You are a very negative fan, way over the top, so be it and move on. No harm no foul and no issues. That's how I view it.

Sweating it out is the definition of the NHL playoffs dude. If you dont like close games coming down to the wire, the NHL playoffs probably arent for you. The fact that every game is close is why I love it, but that's just me.

I also had no issue with the effort tonight. You gotta expect the Caps are going to make a push at some point. They did, and we withstood it. Great effort in my opinion but maybe on TV it was different.

I'm gonna pull a chuck, let's just agree to disagree. I'm having too much fun watching this team make its playoff run to go back and forth with you on negativity. Do you man.

The Exacta and Trifecta paid nothing.

Watching the Rangers play on the road is relaxing because they play far less stupid every time.

I nailed it. AP on top of Firing Line...made some good money.

I never touch the fav in the KD, but I thought AP was a great horse, a legit triple crown threat IMO.

I hope he does it, we'll see. Will be interesting to see if Dortmund runs again.

It will be business as usual I'd guess. That means, assuming AP comes out of this race healthy, he'll win the Preakness for sure. Then rested horses, maybe Dortmund is one of them, come to battle AP in the Belmont. Although Dortmund may be better suited for the Preakness, Baffert may point him towards the Belmont...we'll see.

Certainly puts Baffert in an interesting position if AP is going into the Belmont with a triple crown on the line and facing a rested Dortmund. I'd have to assume they'd be 1-2 in the odds again.

Petty from Baylor. The Jets had a pretty solid draft, one that resembled an actual knowledgable GM. I liked the Giants pick of Collins in the 2nd. But I'm a KC fan so what do i know. It would be nice a to finally see a TC winner, i didn't have a chance to see the Derby.

The payoffs sucked in the Derby. It was slightly more entertaining than that lame fight

Payoffs worked out fine for me. The exacta paid out more than the trifecta...so that made me smile.

Don't bother Chuck. Payouts sucked. Derby sucked. Fight sucked. Game sucked. Rangers suck. You suck. I suck. Everything sucks.

One site I looked at had these as the payouts:

    Exacta 18/10 $72.60
    Trifecta 18/10/8 $50.50

Just looked at another site, and yes the tri was $202.

And yes they were low payouts, to be expected with favs up top, but if you had the right horses you still can make your money. I was lucky that I had AP and Firing Line as my top two, and that's how it finished.

The Preakness might be unbettable since AP should be a huge fav in a small field.
