I hate to say this but I can see this team losing 5-1 in the next one.

I can go either way Mess. I can totally see this team being spent, but I could also maybe see them playing one more good game at home. Leam more towards a flat performance, but I will call game 5 a coin flip like I thought games 3 & 4 were.

    Any line changes I wonder...

Hard to see them scoring more than a goal unless Holtby loses focus.

Also there is no offensive threat from the point. Rangers have big bodies in Nash Hayes Kreider who can't shoot right now but you would think they could get a lucky bounce off a skate or stick from a shot from the point. The D has provided zero offense too

    Hanks sums it up well:

Henrik Lundqvist was asked if he was shocked to be down 3-1 in the series and said:

“There is no shock, it’s disappointment. I think we do so many good things, we are working extremely hard and playing really well but there is nothing really to figure out, we just need to score. We have the looks and the chances, it comes down to making a big play when it’s there for you. You can’t ask for a better work ethic, it’s all in, we need to figure out a way to put the puck in the net.” (MSG)

Which is comical Dis with Yandle, Boyle, and McD on D.

11 straight one goal games in the playoffs.

Maybe some of our fans will finally get it. This team once again shows it is flawed. The offense f'n sucks.

I must admit you did predict how this might play out. The flaws are showing.

They scored 11 goals ( I think) against the Pens, and took the series. With each series you need to step it up, and they aren't doing that. Are they being outplayed? IMO, not really. But for some strange reason, they go brain dead for a split second and it seems to result in a bad goal allowed. I'm not seeing the Capitals do that. Did you see when Kreider lost the puck on the tying goal, and just stopped? Or how about Stepan getting knocked down (should have been a penalty), and took his time getting up. Man, if he had just looked up from his knees, he may have been able to knock the puck off of Korpikovsky's stick. He didn't even look or try. What do think Messier would have done in both situations?

I won't miss Step if he's sent somewhere else.

Nash better be off this team next year. It's time to go in another direction.

Unfortunately, this is all a learning experience for a young Hayes. He has to be taught that when you have an open shot right in front you cannot be in a pass first mentality. You have to get that shot on goal.

They need the secret weapon to get over from Russia, but apparently he's playing one more year there. They have almost no cap space this summer either.

Hang with it. Hard for me to believe the Rangers are going out like this. But they need to step it up, and score some crappy goals

When he predicted the same thing last year and the made the SCF did it play out as well Mess?

Some people will say the team is bad...the team is bad...after every L. Some people will say the team is good...the team is good.

No matter which group you fall into some will be right and some will be wrong. The way sports works. And put me in there as well. I am not taking myself out of the discussion either.

So to me I don't want to hear that now. The same people who will say they were right this year were wrong last year. Again...how sports works. No deep thought required...LOL.

Easier said then done since you not only need to find somebody to take him but you do have to replace that goal scoring as well. Yeah he sucks in the playoffs but you can't lose a ton of goals without a way to replace them. I'm done with the mindset that guys like Kreider will naturally score 35 one of these seasons and make up for it.
