He needs to look to shoot to score Dis. That is my issue with him now. The guy doesn't even look at the net. All alone at the side of the net, and never even thinks about shooting or taking it hard. That's what angers me. I know he is old now, okay that is what it is, but why doesn't he look to shoot anymore? He was always a big goal scorer on top of getting a lot of assists.
Confidence is way down. I just think he is going to score a big goal tonight. He is old but has been a great playoff guy scored big goals last years Finals run
Just a matter of time. Lose a FO, turn the puck over, lose our check. Rangers flat to start, I saw it coming man. This is exactly why I was nervous. I hate everything I am seeing so far. Caps want it more.
McD had a chance to get the puck out when it was sitting there, he just stares at it. Then he reacts WAY too slowly realizing that OV is wide open. This is already looking like game 3-4 where we were too scared/cute too shoot and the Caps took advantage of their chances while we screwed the pooch on ours.
Another goal resulting from not getting the puck out of the zone. Unreal how bad they have been in that regard. Not to mention a terribly lost face off.
Even though we lost the FO, we still had a chance at the puck and played it weakly THEN we lost the check as well. Total failure in every aspect.
First real shot of the game with 4:31 left in the 1st. We must get our game going. Wake the F up...this is game 7.
I really don't understand Mcdonagh sometimes. How many times is he going to get burned not clearing the puck?
They're just working the cycle and making us look foolish. That 4th line can't have much ice time. They're getting pinned in very easily and the Caps are taking advantage of that line being out there. Shepard looks awful tonight, and yes he's only a 4th liner, but he's making really bad decisions and plays out there. Early yet, so plenty of time to turn it around, but so far, Caps have outworked and outplayed us.
