This is where we miss Zucc. He would rally them up. :)

Outside of the last 12 min of G6 that was the worst period of the series. Disappointing to say the least.

Time for this teams resolve to step up

Not good time to have one of their worst periods in the series...LOL Still plenty of time to bounce back.

Washington is playing like a desperate team should. The Rangers need to step it up. They're getting chances as well so we will see what happens in the second. Stop going backhand on Holtby and elevate some shots already. Stepan had a good chance on the PP but put the shot in a terrible spot.

Playing at home makes them more timid.

Really you would think they would know by now going to your backhand against this kid has been pointless (literally). Nash barely even tried to score, that was a terrible attempt. Almost as if his nerves got the best of him.

It's almost like he fanned and then just barely caught it. They've struggled all year elevating pucks so it's not surprising that they still can't do it. It's disappointing, just like the faceoffs and PP, but it is what it is at this point. Hopefully we can start playing like its a game 7, and realize if we lose if over. The Caps have realized that.

Give OV credit. He had a terrific first period backing up his words.

Maybe someone should've brought that annoying horn the caps fans use. That would remind them that they are on the road.

OV was fine, but the Rangers didn't show up, that's my issue not that OV had a chance and scored. The Caps had 15 shots in the 1st period, that is ridiculous.

Great play by Nash, followed up by not elevating the puck and shooting it right into his pads. Shocking.

You have got to make them pay man. If we can get 1 and tie it we can go from there and start to roll.

This is games 3 and 4 again. No one in front long easy saves for Holtby. Get traffic and go.

Nash's backhand was weak but the 5 hole was open....

This is why I said our crummy PP would hurt us. They're not afraid to take a penalty to nullify a good scoring chance.
