I appreciate you sharing that. I think you may be overstating the impact of being a Trump-voter though. There were 75m people who voted for him so "cancelling" (whatever that means) is not going to happen in almost every situation. However, being part of the attempted insurrection on January 6th is a whole different can o worms. You have immeasurable freedoms in the US compared to Russia (regardless of what time frame we are talking about). However, I fully agree with you that the hypocrisy and frankly, cynicism in this country is maddeningly out of control. We are losing our integrity as a country and that is a serious issue. My oldest is in kindergarten so I can't speak to any type of brainwashing going on with her at school at this point. However, she has been remote the entire school year and I have been working from home every day with her and I can say that their curriculum is pretty much what I would expect it to be. Math, reading, science and a bit of social studies all mixed in with proper social skills. No complaints from me so far.
