100%, but he won't and that isn't who he is. You can keep hoping for it, but you'll continue to be disappointed. That's my point, not that he has been an 8 mill player. Outside of one 50 point season, he has never been that guy (scoring in the 20's is his normal season).

To me there are two choices with Trouba. Accept who he is, a very solid 2nd pair RD who will hit and lead, or be bothered that he doesn't score more points and isn't a stud 1st pair RD. I'll choose the former, because that's who he is.

He plays 22 mpg +, and is on pace to pretty much get the same amount of points per 82 games, maybe a few less, than he normally gets outside of the one 50 point season, and that's with very little PP time.

I could care less what dump does or says. He is what he is. I've seen him post since ESPN message boards. Knoblauch did not coach a good game. He made some questionable decisions throughout the game. Are you happy now?

I would be happy if we stopped the blame game and talked hockey. The constant ripping of Quinn should be done and we need to get back to hockey. Quinn has been fine, Knoblauch has been fine, now let's talk hockey and the very exciting future the Rangers have starting next season I think.

Blackwell is costing us big time now. He's making stupid decisions. He's turning the puck over. He's small and doesn't win battles. He has to either be dealt or sent to the AHL. It's absurd Barron isn't up yet. Yes, I did criticize Knoblauch this game as he wasn't great. Unfortunately, a few dumb fucks on this board can't read. I did like the fact he didn't switch up the lines. In the long run that pays off. You can't change lines every time your team has a stinker. If Panarin would shoot the fucking puck more on the PP they might have pulled the game out.

Lemieux doesn't do enough to be on the team either. Replace Blackwell and Lemieux with Kravtsov and Barron then you are moving in the right direction.

Rooney struggled more than Blackwell today. You could say both goals were the result of Rooney mistakes. His penalty led to the Flyers first goal on the PP. Mishandled puck on the Flyers GWG.

Overall though those guys have been solid for us this season. If played in the right roles, on the 4th line, you could do a lot worse.
