It’s a combination of being lazy and being tired. Plus we all know he’s got an injury that they aren’t talking about. Tampa isn’t really forechecking like the Canes. They are dropping back so there is time for him to skate it up and then make a smarter, better pass. Our weakness this whole postseason has been getting the puck out of the zone and faceoffs. Been much better thus far this game on faceoffs but still struggling with being competent in the dzone.

Yes, but it’s not. That was a feeling out period for the rangers to get used to tampas physicality. I think they adjusted towards the end of the period and should be good to go the rest of the way.
That was not a good period. Need to be MUCH better if we want to have a shot in this series. Couldn't get the puck out of our zone, sloppy stuff.
It was ok for the most part. Good news is Tampa is not as good as Canes defensively and we controlled the faceoffs lol
