They just played a crap game which happens. Might be good to get themselves on the road where they're very strong.
Pretty easy to figure this one out. 1. Special teams. We get 1 PP on 7 chances. They go 2-2 on their first two chances. 2. Outside of the first 8 or so minutes of the 3rd, the Pens wanted this game MUCH more than we did. Pretty easy to see that. And for anyone crying about the refs even one drop give me an f'ing break. We have gotten MANY good calls in 2 games. We have a HUGE PP lead. So please stop the nonsense. Onto game 3. I expect we'll play a MUCH better and stronger game, with a lot more passion.
Yea, but he was only falling because Fleury tripped him. If he's not tripped than he doesn't need to swing his stick out. Regardless, I'm not complaining about the officials. We had our chances but we blew them.
Smarter? Scoring on your 75 PP chances has nothing to do with being smarter. Has everything to do with execution.
It's over so all the analysis in the world isn't going to change the outcome. We shall see how they respond in game three.
Hayes with his worst game as a Ranger, including preseason, and AV with his worst coaching decision of all time having Stepan take that face off. Time to drink
I 100% expect the Rangers will do what they do. Play with no life one game, and come back with a big effort the next game. So I'd expect a big game 3, but it does frustrate the hell out of me that this team still cannot play with a series lead and step on the throat of a team. Really pisses me off. I was hoping by now they would have understood how to handle that, but I guess not.
