Maybe they turn this one around, but I just don't see it. They have been terrible in Pitt. And I said it after game 5, they didn't play that well in that game. They had 3 goals in a few minute span, and did very little the other 55 minutes. That was not a good recipe to expect a good performance and a win tonight. Just don't see it. I think we have been pretty awful overall since the start of game 3 outside of one period. And BTW - give the Pens credit also, they have taken it to us. Bottom line is move pieces around, get on this player or that player, but until this team toughens up, starts to play North-South hockey, and stops trying to be pretty and over pass they will not win in the playoffs IMO.
If they'd scored in the OT or on any of the pp's in the 3rd period when Georgiev was in, the series would be over or they'd be up 3-2, which is crazy as poorly as they've played.
Kreider, Zibanajad, Panarin and Strome should be ashamed. They're offering nothing while Pittsburgh has everyone going.
There's a little bit of leadership lacking on the team. Kreider and Trouba do some but they don't have anyone who can fire the team up it seems.
Thankfully one of these guys they can let walk this summer and have no cap hit to worry about. Strome's last game as a Ranger, and thankfully he will be gone.
The pens have no Crosby, Rackell, Dumolouin, and their top or backup goalie and the rangers still cant win the series. LOL what the fuck.
Not sure why Gallant keeps throwing that first line. They've sucked all series pretty much. Playe the kid line as much as possible.
He barely played them all season, not about to change now. He's going with the horses that got him here. Zib at least just had a nice power move that resulted in a shot.
