Yeah the Habs look unstoppable :)

What exactly makes the Habs so good other than Price. I think the teams are pretty even and that is giving the goalie edge to Montreal. Their D is not better than ours. Their forward depth is not better than ours. We get a huge break avoiding the Met teams all of which would likely beat us in a 7 game series and we get a break starting on the road even though the Forum has been tough.

Rangers had a frustrating second half of the season but this is a battle tested core who have played a ton of meaningful playoff hockey over the past 5 years. This is a good match up for them overall IMO

    Disturbed,

Agree, MTL is not that much better than the Rangers. What I am saying is Claude Julien will beat AV. Coach is the difference.

Price is pretty much the consensus difference from the talking heads.

I think Price will be Price. To me the difference maker will be how we defend in our own zone. That would be # 1 for me. We must move the puck quickly and stay structured and disciplined in our own zone.

Laughable that Glass scores the first goal. I really hope Raanta gets claimed and they don't take Lindberg but I think he might be the guy we lose which would suckkkkkkk.

Good first period. Survived Montreal onslaught and on the best goal tanner glass has ever scored in his life lead 1-0.

Like I said Step Glass gets his 8:01 and adds an unexpectedly sweet backhand to the physical play. The Rangers as a team stepped up their game defensively challenging the Habs at the blue line and it was Julien who didn't change his game plan. Hank was the King. Great game and a great start!
