http://hoopshype.com/2016/10/26/ranking-the-nba-head-coaches-10-1/ I thought this article provided an interesting description of Terry's "Flow Offense" Stotts’ “Flow Offense” is the wonderful fit with multiple ballhandlers. After the initial action is run, the secondary ballhandler is put into position to attack the a scrambling defense off the dribble and this dynamic is perfect with Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.
And Nate ranked 27th also seems about right. We're so lucky to have Stotts. He's so much more versatile and flexible than Nate ever was. His offense is a thing of beauty, involving all five players, with lots of ball movement and player movement. He has a unique way of maximizing his players strengths while hiding their weaknesses. We've greatly exceeded expectations two of the last three seasons, and the one time we didn't we were 2nd in the West until injuries took us down. Credit to the players and their hard work, but credit to Terry too, for putting them in situations where they can succeed. BNM
Wow! Stotts ahead of Kerr! Yeah that makes sense??? Well at least McMillan isn't ranked ahead of Jeff Hornacek. I bet Phil Jackson doesn't have him near the end of the list. Luke Walton should not be down at 20 either, top 10 for sure, except he is stuck with Lakers. Heh heh heh! I always wanted that job for McMillan.
