Everybody that thinks the raps need a backup SG, isfocusing on Offense only. That's the problem with the raps is that their defense sucks. Hopefully Curry or Palacio can provide a bit of defense off the bench. The raps have enough guys that just want to shoot. If MoPete could get his head on straight and figure out what is a good shot and what isn't, and JYD and AD could figure out that they are there to get garbage points (more so JYD, but AD is hardly a scorer on any other team), maybe then someone like CJ, AW, or even Bradley could get some quality touches and experience. Don't forget about Lamond either guys. He's good for 15 off the bench. He can play more than enough to be a backup for VC... We don't need another SG, we do need a real center! An intimidator, shot blocker, rebounder. Not Motumbo though, we've been burnt enough by old centers who are past their prime!
let's say the starters will be : Alvin PG Vince SG Mo SF 2 minutes to go in the first quarter .. Kevin will take moe out and send Lamond to play in the SF ... and then in the beggining of the second quarter ... vince takes a rest... and either jefferies take his place .. or and more likely alvin will play in the PG ... and curry becomes SG ... and after 5 mins in the second .. vince is back in the game for Alvin .. and moe will take back his place in SF .. and lamond will take a seat .. !! and Palacio will likely get 10 mins a game replacing alvin in the point that would be the rotation for most of the games .. and we'll end up.. Vince 38-40 MPG Alvin 36 MPG Lamond 25-30 MPG Moe 30 MPG Palacio 10 MPG Curry 20-25 MPG .. and if someone got injured .. CJ will take his job .. SO we're full with SG/SF positions ... all we need is a decent centre which isn't available ..
