Raps Trade Villanueva for TJ Ford

    Benvedis, you obviously didn't watch too many Raps games if you trust Calderon being our starting pg. He'll get his assists, but he's a worse shooter than Ford, his driving skills aren't even close, and his decision-making is pretty poor. Who would back him up as well? Martin? Barret?! I don't think so. CV was good for us offensively, but you don't lose much with Graham and Peterson at sf. Not to mention that both those players are far, far better defenders than Charlie. Also that move allows Parker and Jones to share minutes at sg (with MoPete at 3), both of whom are also good defenders. The move also allows us to allot more minutes to the development of Bargnani. Giving Barganini solid minutes is key to him becoming a star in this league (see Detroit's mistake with Darko), and with Villa around, I couldn't see him getting more than 10 minutes at sf/pf.
