Never heard of this guy before.... Hopefully He can develop Bosh into his Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett type player like scouts has projected Bosh to.... Doesn't Mitchell look like Fonsworth Bentley from the P Diddy Videos?
drama in raptorland, the ny daily news is reporting that mike woodson is the new head coach of the raptors.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Originally published on June 26, 2004 </div> yeah that was yesterday, the same day the sun reported mitchell was hired.
Heres a part of an article saying the possibilities of Mitchell's new assistants: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mitchell is likely to have some veteran help on his staff in Toronto. A league source said it's likely the Raptors' director of player development, Alex English, will be on the bench with Mitchell and that there's a chance former Atlanta and Milwaukee head coach Terry Stotts, who worked with Mitchell with the Bucks, will be added as an assistant</div> Full Story
As a Bucks fan, I was shocked to hear that Sam got this job, considering he was our last assistant head coach on the staff, but this coaching staff did a great job last season with us, and Sam must have had a huge role, he is also a great guy, met him last year, and hope him the best in Toronto. 2nd coach in a row you guys hired with Milwaukee ties.
I know he'd be good for Bosh and maybe even Moiso but what can he do for Carter because he's a guard? Did any Bucks big men play better last year, gmanspack?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ADubb20:</div><div class="quote_post">but what can he do for Carter because he's a guard? </div> ever hear of a hall of famer by the name of alex english?
Uh huh, sounds good. I know his Hall of Fameness and seen his stats but I don't know his game. Imagine Dr.J workin with VC.
I think team management is finally surrounding the players with basketball guys. These guys know what happens in the NBA and in the locker room as well. If everyone is happy with each other I can see this team being successful.
Actually, both our big men had good years, he developed Skinner into a solid center and he made Joe look like the old Joe Smith, I don't know if it was him, but he was a center, and suited up for practices, so I would think it was him

here's something about Jim Todd: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jim Todd enjoyed tremendous success as a player and a coach on the basketball court for Fitchburg State. He started immediately as a freshman and collected over 900 career points as a swing forward for the Falcons. In 1976, following his standout playing career, Todd became an assistant coach for the Green and Gold. From 1978 to 1980 he served head coach. Jim also accomplished the rare feat of coaching a high school team and a college team at the same time, and gave a glimpse of things to come when he guided Notre Dame of Fitchburg to the state championship. Winning continued to follow Todd after he left Fitchburg State in 1980. He quickly secured assistant positions at Division I programs Columbia, Marist and Manhattan. At Marist he helped develop the skills of future NBA All-Star Rik Smits. Following the Division I experience, Todd became the enemy when he became the head coach at Salem State. At SSC, he squads reached the postseason eight times in nine years and amassed an impressive 110-10 record in MASCAC play. Todd realized a life long dream in 1996 when he joined Chris Ford?s staff of the NBA?s Milwaukee Bucks. In 1999, Ford and Todd left Milwaukee to coach the LA Clippers. When Ford was relieved of his duties in 2000, Tood became the head coach. Finally, the man who played college basketball in Parkinson Gymnaisum, was patrolling the NBA sidelines as a head coach.</div>
Jim Todd was another one of the assistant coaches under Terry here last year, him and TP are tight, so I would doubt he'd leave, unless he got a head coaching job.
