<div class="quote_poster">Quoting jb10:</div><div class="quote_post">hey folks! im from spain i've seen calderon for a long time and surely is one of the top european PG. i would say that after sarunas jasikevicius (just signed for indiana) he's the best. good ball handling, good shot, decent defense, he has the body and the most important thing, he is a true Pg who makes everybody better. after pau gasol, maybe now he's the best spanish player.
i would say, he's better than rafer overall. rafer is more a scorer and calderon a director. i really want him to succeed, so we'll see
be sure that you got a very good player</div>

thats great to hear, maybe we can sign another point guard and move rafer to the 2?

I really wouldn't want to move Rafer to the 2, I mean he takes enough shots when he's playing PG, imagine how many he'd be taking at the 2 guard spot!

Plus we already have Mopete, Rose and Graham who are all capable to play the 2. Rafer should stick at the 1. I would like to see Rafer come off the bench at the 1 after Calderon, because he shined in that role in Miami.

It would also cause problems defensively to move Rafer to the 2, and he's not a scorer anyways.

Rafer wouldn't have the ball in his hands as much so he would take less shots. I think one of the main problems was that Rafer didn't really trust Jalen or Mo Pete who would jack up treys. Also usually the shot clock would dwindle down and Rafer would have to take the buzzer beater.

Rafer didn't trust Jalen or Mo Pete with the three, so that's why he jacked up treys? [IMG]
