<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SkiptoMyLue11:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think that Shape was trying to say bad things about the Raptor's players, he gave a positive and negative look on each player. Bonner hustles a lot on defense and gives a lot of the little things. He tries hard on D. Bonner may not have been brought in for defense, but he puts his share of it in. I agree that because SlowCar was picked 58th that there shouldn't be high expectations or the same criticism that a 1st rounder receives. Everyone expects Bynum to be a project, so an unrefined 17 year old with probably no good post moves and slow footwork will probably have mediocre results against players who are 3 to 7 years older than him. Joey Graham did seem to shoot too many jumpers as he shot 3-12 and the Raptors as a whole shot 31.3%. Lakers shot 39.4% it sounds like a pretty ugly sounding game.</div> I wasn't saying shape tried to. I like his assessments but I'm just giving him a few pointers. All I'm saying about Matt Bonner is that if he demands too much, then it's just better if Babcock signs Slokar instead of Bonner. Andrew Bynum better watch his mouth.. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There was other talk of the future from O'Neal, specifically about Andrew Bynum, the Lakers' first-round selection in last month's draft. Bynum, 17, invited a comparison to O'Neal on draft day, with one exception ? he makes his free throws, he said. "Tell him Shaq doesn't respond to juvenile delinquents without a college degree," O'Neal said. "Tell him to get his degree and we can talk. In the meantime, he should call me Dr. Shaq because I'm working on my PhD."</div> LA Times
I'm still putting my thoughts together on the write up, and I have over 50 pics from the game to post. I posted my opinions on the Lakers in the Laker forum. Bynum has A LOT of work before he's going to have an impact in the league. He's just not physically strong enough or experienced enough to expect much. He has all the physical tools to be a dominant center, and I can see why the Lakers drafted him. I still think they could have gotten him a lot later in the draft, but they were probably scared to miss out on him.

Cook's are abit low in comparison but at least he's passing the ball, close to 4 apg isnt horrible. I'm most impressed with CV's passing and everything Slokar is doing. Anyone know the chances of him finding a roster spot with decent minutes this year?

The only way we can bring him over is if we don't sign Matt Bonner and thus save the MLE. If his buyout doesn't exceed $350,000 however, we can probably just bring him over.
As expected, we lost to the Knicks today in Minny Summer League... Superstar Slokar couldn't pull us through all by himself =P Can't find the link though, just read it on realgm.com so don't take my word for it...
