I think by now Rashard would want to be part of a winning organization, and have some help in their winning. Which is why I see a viable place for him to sign is the Raptors. We have the cap space, and he knows that he will immediately be a starter here.

I heard Damp from other boards, but I still don't get why a team takes him on.
How about Houston? He was born and raised there, and he's always wanted to play for the Rockets. TMac can move to the SG spot, with Alston in the backcourt. Lewis would be at SF, Hayes at PF, and Yao at C. Lewis would be a nice addition along with TMac and Yao, but I don't know he'd feel being the 3rd option on offense.

Also, Jeff Green did not remove his name from the draft, he's staying in. Roy Hibbert is the one who withdrew.
<span style="color:#FF0000">Hes most likely going to Houston</span> due to the fact that his parents already talk to him about his return. His mother wants him to come to Houston. He wants to come back to Houston, we'll probably do a sign-n-trade with him. :happy0144:

Houston has no need for another SF. they already have Battier who is really their only good defense player(unless you count mutombo) and Mcgrady playing SG-SF. What Houston really needs is a PG and and more importantly I believe a PF(Juwan Howard isnt cutting it anymore) If Houston could add another nice piece at either spot I think they could be a contender.

Its obvios that <span style="color:#FF0000">Houston</span> wants to add another elite player. What were gonna do is do a sign-n-trade with Seattle who's most likely going to be the one to sign him. Then we'll trade Battier, along with Juwan, and somebody else for salaries purposes. This will be the starting lineup if Im correct. Rafer Alston Tracy McGrady Rashard Lewis Chuck Hayes or Steve Novak Yao Ming :worthy:
If you trade Battier your team will lose in the first round next year again. Anyway why do the sonics want Battier when they're getting Kevin Durant?

Taking on Howard's contract kills the deal for Sonics. Battier is actually a nice player to add on that Seattle team. No brainer for Houston. Rid of Howard's contract and upgrade at SF with a legit third scorer who provides Houston with needed consistent 3 pt threat.

What will you do if you play the Lakers(Kobe will score all over you) or the Spurs(Ginobli will score all over you) or the suns(Marion and Diaw)or the nuggets(Melo) Point is the Rockets are already a soft team, if you get rid of Battier you will lose your only good versatile defender and only weaken yourselves further. It's apparrent you need another scoring option but defense wins series and more importantly championships.
Then you have zero defense. All you would have is a shooting team. Rashard Lewis is better than Battier, but hes not best for Houston.

Yes hes is good at <span style="color:#FF0000">"slowing down"</span> elite superstars, but he can only hold one at a time. The best teams have more than one player that can score .
