Rafer Alston Tracy McGrady Rashard Lewis Chuck Hayes or Steve Novak Yao Ming
Nice Homerism, but you dont seem to get the idea that The Sonics are probably the worst defensive team in the NBA and it so happens their worst defensive player is rashard. Im going to leave it alone because first off Rashard wont end up on the rockets, secondly The rockets are going to be hard pressed to make it out of the first round again(since the west is getting even tougher and since Hakeem they've done it 0 times) and thirdly your homerism wont allow you to see reality. You honestly think the Rockets could beat the Jazz(who are going to be better) The Spurs(who will likely be the champs) The Suns(Who if you have Rashard guarding will score 120 on you a night) The Nuggets(who with Rashard Melo will take over and show why he scored nearly 30 ppg in the regular season) or the Blazers(Brandon Roy and Darius miles will love scoring all over rashard again. while Oden and Randolph take down your weak frontcourt. and I didnt even get started on the Mavericks. The West is a conference where the best defensive teams survive. If the Rockets are going to have any chance at WCF it will be from adding more depth defensively. Right now the best defensive team in the west is San Antonio, and they're in a finals for a reason.

A sign and trade Prince for Lewis. Detroit gets more of an consistent offensive player and he isn't bad on defense either, I think Lewis would fit right in here. And then Seattle would at least get something back in return for Lewis instead of letting him walk for nothing. And then go small like every other western conference team have pretty much done and start Ridnour Allen Prince Durant Wilcox. I know, I know, I'm brilliant.
I don't know that I would want Lewis over Prince. Prince is younger, and he's better at defense. It's just my opinion, plus I don't think we have the money to make that deal, since Rashard will want more money than Tayshaun already makes.

The Sonics? Rashard Lewis would make the most sense for the Celtics, but he opted out of his contract and would have to be obtained in a sign-and-trade deal.
Danny, say it ain't so.

Throw in Delfino too. And Lewis is like one or two years older, wow.

He's an excellent shooter, but I don't think I'd take him over Prince in Detroit.
This Reply is dedicated to primetimeWe did argue about some issues with Rashard lately now here's the website that shows that the Rockets are really going to try to do a sing-and-trade with Seattle. The thing is they want to trade Battier, and their 1st round pick for Lewis. If it does go down do you still think we don't have a chance to pass the first round. Come on Homes :drunk: even you have to say that T-mac, Lewis, and Yao are going to be a good big three next year. :shifty2:  http://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/story/76773.html
I don't get why they're gonna try and get rid of Battier?? He's is by far the best defender on that team and he was the big reason AK47 had one of the worst series a player can have... :no3:

Defense to offense, and at this point Rashard seems more reasonable to have :dribble:.
Okay, but they played tremendous with a guy like Battier leading their defense. We'll see how it all works out, I would be suprised to see Seattle accept the trade and get Battier because they are in a position to get Kevin Durant, and we all know there is no room on that team for two starting SFs.

He's a good weak side shot blocker but other than that he's not that great defensively as everyone tries to make him out to be.
