Rate My Signature Thread

^ Not bad. Some effects on the players and better fonts would make it even better.

 

Dang Swish, your getting good with the sigs.
7/10 on the Jameer/Redick one. I just don't like the seperating middle part, looks too simple.

 

My first photshop sig. What do you think? I was going making one of Calderon, but then he got injured so I switched it around a bit.

I have so much time now that schools finished. I just made a Nate sig.

Also, how do you guys make backgrounds? I just use different brushes and the blur/smudge tool to make mine. They end up really simplistic.

Rate Mine made by Trench. Its Parker in the jungle since hes a raptors.

 

The font is my only concern with that piece, apart from that, it looks awesome.

NTC- Incomplete.....how come you don't wear sigs?

Chutney, you can make a lot of different backgrounds by going to filter>render>clouds and then look at all the other filter options and play with the background. Thats how a lot of BGs are started off.

I like to keep it simple. Plus I dont like the way signatures sit on VBulletin forums.

 

Thanks for the advice. I used a simple lighting filter for that sig and it's obvious that it's too simple. The cloud one looks cool. It's all good though. Every time I make a sig I start off real happy with it, but after a few hours I pick up things that I could've done better or tried differently.

 

Thats a pretty decent signature Chutney. One thing you need to keep in mind though is that the font is what makes the signature, it can very easily make or break any graphic.

That piece would look much better with the right style font in the background. It's a simple change, but one that is very noticable.
