Sherlock Holmes - I loved it. I love Guy Ritchie as a director, all of his movies are filmed with such great style and always have great dialogues, at least in my opinion. And who doesn't like Downey Jr as an actor? Jude Law was a pretty good fit for the Dr Watson's role also. Their chemistry was terrific, though. And as an addition to all those great things I said previously - Rachel McAdams is smokin'.
Beverly Hills Cop -- 7/10 -- I had seen it a few times before but just on television, hence it was gutted. I'm going to watch 48hrs again to compare. Despite the fact that it was a prime Eddie Murphy, the storyline and characters in the film are laughably asinine and the sequels were much worse. Thankfully Murphy was a big enough star to make the film a good watch.
The Book of Eli - 9/10. Amazing stuff. The script was great, Denzel was phenomenal, I loved the camera work, especially during the fighting/shooting scenes. SPOILER And I didn't realize that Eli was blind until after the movie. Then me and my friends started thinking about the hints that would've shown that Eli was blind during the movie and we found many - me likey that kind of stuff in movies. Oh and btw, Mila Kunis has one of the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, seriously. sexybitch
Avatar was the last movie I saw but I'm seeing Toy Story 2 in 3D on Friday night! I really can't contain my excitment!
The Experiment (Das Experiment in German) - it was a German movie. The camerawork wasn't good and it wasn't well edited but the script and acting was great. 8/10 - the idea of the movie is excellent.
East Bound and Down- fuckin amazing. Probably the funniest TV show since Chappelle's Show. Can't wait for a new season.
Dude, Where's My Car? -- 3/10 What is so special about this? Terrible acting, unfunny, and really annoying sound effects.
